Character Education

Lago Vista ISD recognizes the importance of its role in helping learners develop and demonstrate good character qualities every day in order to become successful contributors in the 21st century.  Parents and families are encouraged to support the District's efforts to teach good values and character by continuing these lessons and conversations at home. Viking Character Traits

Lago Vista ISD utilizes Monthly Viking Character Traits as a focal point for our character education program.  Our Viking Character Traits give students the opportunity to focus on one character trait each month. Through lessons and learning activities, students understand the value of character and how it applies to life situations in school and at home.  Click on the boxes below for links to outside parent resources to help support character education at home.
