LV Invitational - August 28, 2025
Our Cross-Country teams had their first race of the season on our home course. Below are the highlights from the meet.
8th grade girls placed 3rd overall against 7 total teams. Our top 5 runners were Camila Berrios in 3rd place, Bennett Buster in 10th place, Summer Nied in 14th place, Maylee Leatham in 18th place, and Lillian Kamenzind in 42nd. Congratulations to these ladies for an incredible race!
7th grade girls WON the meet with a total of 44 points. They competed against 8 total teams and 80 runners. The top 5 runners were Isabel Currey in 3rd place, Adisyn Luedeman in 5th place, Scout Henderson in 8th place, Stella Potvin in 12th place, and London Seewald in 16th place. Also competing to earn the first-place team award were Vivian Berrios, Taytum Carlson, Penny Chadis, Presley Crouch, Adalina Drake, Alice Karoukina, Maddie Mathes, Ava Manley, Madelyn Perez, Aniyah Scott, Lara Sund, Delia Tabor, Panya Vahedi, and Juniper Whitted. Congratulations to these ladies for winning their first meet, which was definitely one of the hardest races they will have this season.
8th grade boys placed 7th overall against 10 total teams and over 100 runners. Runners competing for Lago Vista were Cadeyn Beeson, Carter Brannen, Ozzie Darling, Silas Gambrell, Cirilo Haynes, Luis Hernandez, Ethan Munoz, Liam O’Bryant, Alex O’Campo, and Jasper Wright. Congratulations to these athletes for competing in their first race of the season!

Our top 5 scoring runners were Kingston Calvin in 2nd place, Simon Engler in 9th place, Myer Tullis in 12th place, Alexi Martinez in 14th place, and Samuel Roberts in 18th place. Also competing with the winning team were Walker Bostic, Thomas Burlew, Paxton Coley, Brendyn Crabb, Ezekiel Finch, Beckham Gold, Sullivan Ham, Chance Haynes, Chris Henry, Lucas O’Bryant, Gage Ramirez, Cooper Sargent, Lazarus Smith, and Matthew Tomaszewski. Congratulations to this group of athletes! We are proud of the way you competed.
