NYC for Macy's Parade!

Be sure to tune in to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this year on Thanksgiving morning! Two of our Lago Vista High School Valkyries Junior Lieutenants, Ensey Cratty and Ainsley Townsend, will be dancing in the parade with Spirit of America Productions. They have been working hard to learn the choreography from home, and head to NYC in a few days to join the other dancers in rehearsals for this wonderful opportunity.

We are so proud of them and wish them the best of luck as they represent Lago Vista on the National stage!

Cheer Champs

Lago Vista Cheer came home from the UCA Houston Regional this weekend with two titles and two bids to the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida.

Our very first JV comp team made history by winning the Small JV Game Day division and grabbed one of the few JV bids to Nationals awarded on Sunday. Our varsity team took the title in a very tough Large Varsity Game Day division that included the defending 4A-D2 state champions.

These kids were on their feet cheering for JV football, varsity football, and varsity volleyball the three nights preceding this competition, and still got it done on Sunday after a 4:45 am call time. We are in for big things from this group.

Thanks for rowing with us! Our next competition is the UCA Southwest Regional at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, TX on Sunday, November 23.
